2006 Red TSX
I'm actually quite partial to the red but wouldn't get one for two reasons:
1. It's not exactly cop repellent
2. I really don't like the parchment interior at all
But I think the TSX looks quite hot in red. I'd like to see one with ebony interior.

I absolutely love the color, just doesn't look right on this car. don't know why, but it doesnt. i personally think red cars belong with saddle interior, not quite as light as the parchment, but i wouldn't like ebony interior either on it. maybe, i would. i test drove a 2005 red/ebony. i initially liked it, but then i just thought the color didn't quite fit the car.
i don't think anyone hates that color, just think most don't like it on this car.
yellow doesn't look good on all cars either, but on some, soooo sweet.
my friend's insurance company actually told him that red cars have the lowest premiums because they are in fewer accidents, as a result of how visible they are. interesting tidbit of information, since i always believed the myth that red cars were more expensive because of how they are characteristically driven. i don't know if all insurance companies have the same take as my friend's, but he has a red car, and i can say that it's true in his scenario with 100% certainty.

Thanks everyone. I am red car crazy. I like the shine of black but I am too OC to own one. I was getting a TL when this car came off of the truck. I saw it and switched. I have a black interior on one of my other cars and cant stand it. I was happy with the interior color of the TSX.

I like it, not as much as RBP, but I like it.

Excited
I agree that it looks really out of place on the 06. When I was first looking at TSXs the dealer only had one on the lot and it was an 05 red/parchment. Even he grimaced when he walked up to it.
Point is it seems everyone has fallen in love with each color combo they offer. Buy what you like. If someone talks you out of it everytime you see one on the road (which will be rare) you'll be pissed.

Your car is goregous...I remember when mine was that clean.
I think it's great color, since I love the Red/Tan combo (classic sports car colors, even if it's not a sports car), and it's very rare. I almost never see another. No other color interests me on the TSX except for black, and black only looks good about 10% of the time (when it's clean).
By the way, my insurance company has no idea what color my car is, and doesn't care. The didn't care about my Dad's red Integra either. Red=high insurance is a myth.

I was never a fan of red sedans, but your '06 looks terrific. I like the parchment on a red car -- open and airy and fun as opposed to the more somber and serious ebony (which I have on my NBP). For me, I'm a black-car guy. But I do love that red. Nice!

One thing that I loved about my old car (which was Milano Red), dirt was hidden really well. It wasn't hard keeping it "looking" clean. It wasn't the *POW* sparkling clean when dirty, but it didn't look dirty at the least.

I can't think of anything more personally subjective than color choice. You love it and that's what matters.
Personally, I think the red is all wrong for the TSX and I think the white makes it look cheap. But that's me.
You probably think my living room is butt-ass ugly. And I'm ok with that.
Congrats on your new sweet ride!

I was actually looking for the red color when I purchased my 05 but ended up getting PWP because I just couldn't resist that pearl white (I've loved this white color since Honda introduced it on its last generation of Prelude).
Like someone mentione, this red colour has been discontinued in Canada so it is quite rare. I've only seen a couple of red TSX's on the road so far.
Congratulations on your new ride. It looks absolutely beautiful and very unique.

congrats on your purchase, and those are nice pics.
personally, i also like the darker red on the TL more.
but at least, you have a color combo that is rare. there are too many cg/ebony combos on the road.

Car is friggin hot, but i've heard reasearch that red cars get pulled over way more often. Especially if noone gets red, and your the only red car in like 3 miles. Makes you easy to track, and yeah.... bright red catches the eyes easily.
That's a gorgeous car. The first picture shows a red with which I am not familiar
I've always liked the red or RBP, but I'm now leaning red. I agree that ebony is the classiest interior, regardless of color. I think the red stigma follows from too many compact or domestic cars in plasticky red (i.e. Pontiac, Miata). Think about it, how many foreign sedans have you seen in a nice metallic red? My father used to drive a red S4. Red is sometimes a "tiring" color to the eye, but I wouldn't get tired of your beauty, parks31

altogether. It was available in 03 when I was buying my car but it was only available with parchment.
