2005 TSX Ordered!!!!

I've been floating around the board for a while and I finally have made the move to get my TSX!!!!! Here's the deal:

2005 Carbon Grey with Ebony Int, 6 speed, navi for $27,992 financed at 3.9% through American Honda, plus tax and tags. I also got them to pay the difference ($200) for the new navi disk, version 3.40c. I am excited, should be getting the car in about 2 weeks so they say. If you have any opinions on the deal please post em.

I hope I'll be posting this same thing come Sunday night. I'm going to the dealership for test drive and negotiations tomorrow morning. I've got my research papers in tact and I'm ready for war.

Yeah get ready for war, lol....Every car I have ever bought, in the begining the dealer is all nice and friendly, once they know they got you, they start trying to get you for $100 here or there.....it makes you walk away hating them....but then u forget cause u got your car!!!!!!!

Congrats!!!

Interesting, they're up to 3.40c. I've got 3.40a. Wonder what the differences are...

IneedaTSX: Congrats on the purchase! I bought the same config car and love it. Looks like you'll probably want a name change, too;-)

I bought a 2005 TSX in December but just now checked the Navi DVD version. It's 3.40a, so I decided to call Alpine Electronics, the company that makes the DVDs for Acura. The sales rep told me that all the 2005 TSXs come with 3.40a, and that the 3.40c DVD that will be available for sale has the same data. If anyone has different info, please post. Thanks.

To be honest I am not that sure about the differences either. I Read somewhere on this board that the newest version 3.40c should be available in Feb, Everyone at the acura dealer was clueless, they didnt even know what version was in there now. Even if it doesnt make a difference I still bitched enough to get them to cover the cost of a new disk, so I'm happy.

I'm in Westchester County NY, I got it from Bedford Hills Acura. I shopped around and they gave me the best price.

Well, I just got back from the dealership today. They didn't have my combo there so they wanted me to order it. I told them that I wasn't ordering nothing until I thought it through. So they want me to come back Monday with a proposal on what it'll take to earn my business since I was referred there and they don't want to lose me to another dealership because of money. They will match or better the quote I got from another dealership of $27,793 which is a Automatic with Navigation. I would be ordering a Black/Black Automatic with Navigation. I don't know if I want to wait 3 months to get the car though...so that's what I have to make a decision about tomorrow.

27992 is almost 28000 and seems a bit too high with 3.9 APR (i believe it is for 60 months)

i say 27500 with this APR would be a decent price for 6 speed navi.

Thanks for the comments, I'm happy I'll finally have a tsx of my own to play with. I already ordered my comptech short shifter and rear sway bar. The modding starts now!!
