2005 TSX in Ontario
For all those canucks out there, looks like the first shipment of the 2005 TSX Models have touched ground in Ontario.
I received confirmation that some early shipments came in on November 24th. I will be picking my car up on November 30th from Acura 2000 in Brampton.
Went with the Arctic Blue Pearl 5-speed.

For the 2005 5spd. AT:
Sticker: $36,100 for 2005 (vs. $34,800 for 2004) I got a $1,900 discount off sticker, discounted mats, free trunk tray, and discounted protection treatment.
So for the 2005, price worked out as follows for me.
Vehicle minus discount: $34,200
Acura Winter Mats: $ 140
Trunk Tray: $ -
Pre-Delivery Expense $ 700
Freight $ 500
Fed A/C Tax $ 100
Tax for Fuel Consump $ 75
Admin Fee $ 175
Rust/Paint/Fab protect $ 517
Ext. Warranty (max) $ 1,538
-----------
Pre-tax $ 37,945
15% tax (GST/PST) $ 5,692
-----------
TOTAL $ 43,637
-----------
If I didn't get the extended warranty and rust protection, it woulda cost me around $41,300.
Probably didn't get the greatest deal, but I really wanted to get the fresh 05 instead of picking up one of the 04's that have been sitting in the lot for a while.
I will post pics when I get it, and will let y'all know about the extra features.

I picked up my 2005 CG TSX w/ NaviSystem a few days ago. I live in vancouver though but I was promised that the car would arrive at an earlier date but it ended up being almost 2 weeks late.
None the less I have the car now and I'm 100% satisfied with it

Dr P: sounds like a good deal, except that that bogus admin fee. Giben the add-ons with the 05's, I guess the $1300 increase isn't too bad.
I live in sothern Ontario and rarely see other white tsx's. However, I was in Vancouver last Friday and saw 3 of them.

majority of the TSX's I see in Vancouver are white. Thats why I got the charcoal grey.

Honda had to know the direction the Can. $ was moving relative to the US$, so why did the yanks have a $500 increase and Canadians a $1300? Using even an $0.8 dollar, and you can see we are now paying much more for our cars than in America. Even worse for the new RL. I know they hedge currencies, but in this case they would have protected themselves from a falling US dollar, nit a Canadian one. I think they are lining their collective pockets. That said, the TSX is still a very good buy for the money.

Based on 04 prices you overpaid. Going on 05 pricing I don't think you could have asked for more than $1,900 off.

If Acura mark up is still about 8% like it was in 04.
36,100 - 8% = $33,212
04 invoice was $32,012. So you paid maybe a few hundred too much but I really have no way of knowing right now what invoice is. $1900 still seems like alot off to me especially for an new 2005.
