2005 TSX with 95k miles

Hello all.

Love this site! I've been reading through many, many threads and I'm trying to figure out what I should tackle on our 2005 TSX.

At 100k I plan on changing:

oil and filter
serp belt
plugs
adjust valves
valve cover gasket
brake fluid
upper and lower radiator hoses
coolant
water pump
thermostat
serp belt tensioner
timing chain tensioner
auto trans fluid (3x3 method)
auto trans fluid

I know some of these things might be overkill but is there anything else I should add to the list while I'm this deep into it?

Thanks!
Brad

If you're going to do all that, might as well add a new fuel filter.

I agree. I looked into that before and couldn't find the location. Back to the drawing board on that one I guess.

I think it's in the tank, pre-pump. Requires dropping the tank etc. I've heard these aren't service items on our machines.

Prior to my experience I would have scoffed at a timing chain tensioner. They are supposed to last forever right?

My 2004 TSX skipped a tooth and was out of time. Thankfully my 3rd party warranty had about 500 miles left on it so it was covered. Otherwise $1k out of pocket. The dealer replaced the chain and tensioner and I got a 2010 TL Tech Package to drive for 5 days.

The dealer called and asked to keep it a day longer since they "don't see this very often" and wanted to make sure it was right.

Thank goodness for that warranty!
