2004 TSX oil question

what kind of oil does this thing come with stock, and what kind do you guys use? i use nothing but royal purple 10w-30 in my EVO, and i ran only royal purple 5w-30 in my honda accord (R.I.P. the one the TSX is replacing). I'm planning to do the same in the TSX, but i don't know what weight it takes...mainly because i haven't gotten the car yet. we should be picking it up friday.

The TSX takes 5W-30. Currently I'm using whatever the oil change place put in it, but next change I'm planning on going all Mobil 1 filter/synthetic oil.

Yea it takes 5W-30 and most ppl use synthetic = Amsoil, Mobil 1 or Royal Purple. I wouldn't really use anything other than the 3 listed just out of personal preference unless it's Honda's oil that they use in there.

yes, it does not need synthetic. the dealership and factory use standard oil.

oh okay, thanks. i may just stay with conventional oil then. i dunno. it'll actually be up to my girlfriend. i'm buying the car for her really so whatever she wants to pay for lol. if we go the syn route, i may just tell her to get mobil 1 because it's cheap.
