2004 AT trade for MT?

I might be able to trade my 2004 NHBP AT Navi with 28k miles for a 2004 NHBP MT Navi with 36k miles, i would be able to take all the stuff on my car right now and switch it over to the other car, but what would you guys consider a good deal, if the dealership did an even trade? If had to pay like 500-1000 more, or if they paid me a little since mine has less miles an is a AT which is easier to sell in the car market?

The AT would probably be easier to sell. If you have an MT with mods you could probably sell it to some enthusiast.

Get the one you really want. Why be miserable and wish you had something else for years when you can get what you want with minor (relative) cash outflow.

is it a 6MT? or a 5MT. The additional cost of the 6MT and the value of your AT tranny will kinda cancel each other out. But since yours is less miles they should owe you money. Get a navi if you dont all ready have one!

Considering your mod list, the 6MT would seem the right choice. But, this dealer is going to want to make some $$.

Assuming the condition of both cars is identical, I would think yours is worth a little more $$ due to lower mileage, and the fact that 5ATs are probably easier to sell. A 6MT is much harder to find though so that could be worth $$, so it depends how this dealer is looking at it. If he's been sitting on it for a while, it might not cost much.

There was a post about a dealership looking for like $8K to switch out a 5AT for a 6MT, but that was a new one I think................
