Well I finally stopped by a dealer for the first time today to get up close and personal. I was a bit pressed for time and it was the beginning of rush hour so my test drive was pretty short. Hence no real performance impressions. These are just some things that popped into my head while I was there.

The car looks sportier the closer you get to it.

Fragile or not, the paint on these cars is really unique. The colors appear noticeably different depending on what the ambient lighting is.

The idea of a blue-ish silver sounded nasty to me. I surprised myself that I sort of liked MSM. I don't care for the Quartz though.

Sounds odd, but sitting still in the car doesn't do justice to the interior. The overall level of refinement became much more impressive when actually driving.

IMO, the sport shift on the 5AT is backwards. I'd much rather have it ala a race car with back/up and forward/down.

Anyway, I can hopefully start to seriously shop around toward the end of next month.

 

I'll share my experience too. I was just bored one weekend and visited Acura. I tried sitting in the RSX, TSX, TL

RSX - seemed kind of cheap

TL - nice, but felt a bit too old in it.

TSX - just right

I just loved the interior of the TSX. After that I started checking out the car and ... I went on Google.. and I became a member of this forum.
