100k mile TSX..
Newbie here but oldie on a ton of forums..
Looking for a TSX for the GF, problem is budget is around 11-12k, and most out there are higher in miles.
I've read tons and tons of stuff bout 04's and 05's just wondering any feedback now from owners...
from what I've read..
Possible AC Issues
Door Actuator or similar?
Other wear and tear?
I'm a long time Acura guy with a current NSX (with 100k!), old legend LS, and so on...so anyone that can help a fellow Acura owner is appreciated!

No room in
By far the worst is the AC issue, it is extremely expensive out of warranty. I believe it's been almost entirely 04s reporting that problem.
If you look at an '04, make sure it's a refreshed model: the light ring around the ignition switch should be blue (also, the last 5 digits of the VIN should be fairly high, mine is 25xxx). I've heard that a lot of the early production problems were solved when they updated it.
I'm a fairly new owner so I can't speak to many issues. I do have an out-of-spec rear right camber, which is a common, rather negligible issue (incorrect upper control arm).

Just checking back in after several years. Had a 2004, paid sticker ($28,760, I think). Traded it when it came off 4 yr lease w 98000 miles (had leased it at 25K miles per year.) Trade-in was $15,000 - pay-off was $11,500. Big smiles here. No unexpected repairs during ownership. Except for minor cracks in driver's seat leather, car was perfect.
