10 minute *window* of opportunity

So we have this feature where you can still roll your windows up/down for 10 minutes after you shut off your car. Anyone use it?

It's perfect for when you're the only one in the car, but it never works if there are other people in your car...cause right when you/they notice a window is down, they've allready opened the door and disabled the feature

I agree ... haven't found much use for this one ... especially with other people in the car.

On the other hand ... I use the unlock on remote to unroll all the windows all the time

Use it quite often on nice days - standard feature on lesser Hondas.

EuroAccord doesn't have the feature... When shutting off the car the windows can't be rolled up or down... bummer... Guess they gave us a rain sensor for that...

I use it all the time 'cause I keep forgetting to roll up the windows after yanking out the key.

Of course, in the Pacific Northwest, open window is an invitation to rain coming in.

I use it a lot to close the sunroof. I almost never roll the windows down but my sunroof is open (or raised) most of the time.

I use this feature alot. I often have to wait somewhere to pick up my brother from activities and it's nice to be able to open the windows after I turn off the engine.

I always use it when I pull into the garage and shut off the car, then the sunroof and windows go up.

Most of the time I just shut my car off as I'm rolling up the windows...
And the feature has saved my arse many a times cause I forgot to close my rear windows.

I just leave the windows down since I don't want it to get stuck again if I roll them back up. And you have over 2300 posts!

Great! I didn't even know we had this. I always "re-accessory" to close sunroof, etc. Guess I should have tried it huh?

Comes very handy when pulling up to a gas station - they're all full-serve in NJ.

OOoooH Rain sensor!! I soo loved that feature on my Clio. Wish we had this in NA, that and emergency braking assist.

Edit: Yeah, back to topic, I use that feature quite often, since my car is also my office, I like some breathing air without letting the car run idle for minutes. I had this feature also on my 95 Accord EX-R.

I've used it. It's a good feature when you leave the car and find a window was open.

I use it all the time! I am always forgetting to roll the back windows up as i am not use to having back windows that go down in the first place. I also had this feature on my Lude and used it quite often then as well!

A very useful feature. In my Integra if I forgot a window was cracked or down I had to turn the ignition back on to close it which caused the automatic antenna to start to extend. It was a PITA and this feature solves all that. Of course, there is no automatic antenna on the TSX but I think you get my point.

I have to take my previous comment back... Yesterday I tried it and it works here as well... I tried it it before turning off the ignition, but never afetr actually taking out the key. After taking out the key it works...
