'09 Loaner

Dropped my wife's '08 6MT Nav off for service and the Ba$tards gave me an '09 Tech pkg to drive. I know the method to their madness. I was very pleased with the way the car handles. Not as 'sporty' as the gen 1 but I think Acura was aiming for the young, upward mobile crowd with this 2 gen. The seats were definitely more comfortable. The stereo is a bit better but this was the ELS sytem too. I do like the dash layout. This '09 was a black on black. IF I were to order one it would be the PWP 6MT tech. Since Id id not have to look at the grill while driving it did not bother me.

The last time I took my 06 6MT the 09's had just started to go on sale. I had an 08 tsx as a loaner car ( had a choice between that and a TL) When I went to pick my car the next day I test drove a 09 6MT w tech pkg. Next time I plan to request one as a loaner car so I can give it a longer test drive. The one drawback is the automatic transmission it will have.

^^^ I would have to agree. Not as stylish as the IS, but definitely more bang for your buck

Well, I test drove the 09 and I was quite impressed. Car actually looks good in person. Although the grill was absolutely ugly in pictures, in person, you never actually stare only at the grill the whole time so it was alright.

I don't know. I sat in one the other day and the dash drives me nuts. The touch screen is gone and the nav screen location is way the hell over there. Published reports say it gets a lot of reflections and glare, so I'm a little concerned.

Styling wise, the exterior isn't bad, but I dislike the new tail-lights and the chrome shovel grill. The chrome handles I can take or leave.
