08 Glovebox trunk lock?

I have an 08 and in the manual it says that to lock the trunk so the pull release doesnt work i flick the switch inside the glove. but when i do that the trunk still pops open with the release handle. Does the older TSX have this feature and does it work for you??

i have an 05, it works for me.

the lock in the glove box is so that when you press the button outside on top of the license plate), it won't open. To lock the release handle (Where the gas lid release is), there's a key insert where you can turn left to lock it. Then just lock the glove box too, and the onl yway to access your trunk is through your key fob. Just don't lock your keys in the trunk like I did =X

x2
the switch inside the glove is only for the soft button on the trunk itself
