I guess the TPMS is worth $200. On the USA site it states $28090 compared to 2006 @ $27890.

TPMS, that's all I know for sure. I see on there, too, that the HIDs are low and high beams for '07....have they always been like that, or just low beams?

BAH~!

bi-xenons AND auto on headlights @ night...

lol i could've waited and had both these... ah well i wouldn't have had the joy of driving the car for the last 6 months...

As striking as the TSX is, Acura increased its visibility even further with Daytime Running Lights (DRL). To ensure that the DRLs do not fool you into thinking your headlights are on at night, the headlights will automatically turn on as darkness approaches. The HID headlights brighten the road for both the low and high beams, standard low-mounted halogen fog lights help light the road beyond ground fog, and new, easy-to-see turn-signal indicators built into the sideview mirrors make your turning intentions clear to those around you.

Interesting....and my dealer just sent me a letter this week, tempting me to trade in my car because their "pre-owned inventory is low and they need more cars to sell." LOL. They offered to give me a deal on a new car if I trade in my 04 TSX by Saturday the 28th. Temptations, temptations...... NO! Stop! I can't do it!!

that's just a marketing ploy to get you into the dealership. with every car we've owned in the family (from toyotas to nissans to hondas...) , we get these letters once every couple a months

Yeah, this is the second time I've gotten this letter. Just kinda tempting when I have an 04 with no XM, bluetooth, or all the other goodies on the later models. I must resist the temptation .

does the 06 have this feature?
"You can use the Multi-Information Display (MID) to customize several different vehicle functions according to your personal preferences. For instance, you can choose if and when you want the doors to automatically lock or how long the interior lights or headlights remain on after the ignition has been turned off. The MID will easily guide you through these and other customizable settings via three steering wheel-mounted controls."

tell me about it. i am this close to buy an 06 and i saw the website today. I mean I had known for a long time that tsx07 is just around the corner but still, it was good to see 06 tsx on their website tilll now.

Still, money is going to be the most important factor. The last quote that i got from a dealership in chicago for an 06 TSX was about 27.5K. Another 2.5K for TPMS and DRL?? Nah, i dont think so.

I don't think it has bi-xenons (well, not 2 sets of HID's).

The wording posted above makes it seem as such, but I'm fairly sure it's still going to be low (HID) + high (halogen)... when you have the high-beams on... just like it is now (both sets of lights are on).

DRL's in Canada are a lower-wattage high-beam. Probably the same in the USA now.

I am a HUGE fan of DRL's... always have been. I have no idea why the USA is so slow to adopt the idea, but good on Acura for not giving anyone the option. DRL's are proven to be safer, period.

Huh, its does say Xenon low and high beams. Its possible they upgraded to a bi-xenon projector and turned the old high beam slot into a DRL. The TL has this already i know

Yes. Although that description makes it sound more exciting than it really is. I think I only changed how long my headlights stay on after I get out of the car at night. Everything else was okay at the default. The headlights were too actually, I just wanted to change something

Wait, I just saw in your sig you have an 06. It's in the manual!

the '06 does have it... didn't you take time to play around with all the settings when you first got the car? i swear the day i got the car i spent like 2 hrs sitting in the damn driveway with the thing~!! haah ...

The only thing that that description makes it seem like is that it has auto locks when you start the car, but i'm pretty sure (unless they added those for '07 MY) that that's the auto re-lock for the security system

Having an auto-lock feature would be a nice addition. My TL doesn't have it but my Jetta does and I always forget to lock the doors when I drive the TL.

With Acura Music Link, you'll see the track number, elapsed time, and disc number (play mode/category) in your vehicle's audio display or navigation system screen. Acura Music Link does not display iPod® information like song titles or artist names on your vehicle's audio display or navigation system screen.

For those that just shuffle their songs on their Ipod, this would work and save you $214 plus installation:

A built-in auxiliary jack puts your iPod® (or other MP3 player) on tour. Located conveniently inside the front center console, your iPod® can tap into the audio system, complete with a separate volume control and power supply.

HID Headlights
All TSX models are equipped with Xenon High-Intensity Discharge headlights for both the low and high beams. Xenon lights cast a whiter and brighter light for improved clarity. The HID lenses also allow a more precise beam pattern that increases road visibility without blinding oncoming drivers.

ya but it could go both ways it seems... it's very misleading text at any rate...

because your HID lights are on even when your high beams are on too....

Maybe they are like the ones in some Ford models where they are actually built in the glass mirror.

I like the addition of DRL and auto on/off headlights. Anybody think there will be a way to retrofit this into an '06? hmmm...
