only question i have is about cutting the wire and adding diodes. i plan on just adding dvd no camera. do i just cut the green wire and connect the 12v signal the the dvd rom aide of the wire and tape the other end up?
if adding camera and dvd do u just tap into the green wire and add 2 diodes on the 12v lead? and which diodes?
awesome write up! i think i might do this mod my next day off.

I think I might have the original page saved somewhere on my home computer. If someone is willing to host, I will send it to them when I get home tonight (assuming I do have it on my computer, no promises).

It was sent to me as .mht in a .msg and since I don't have a proper web editor on my laptop MS word was the easiest way to get it set up properly.
Hopefully it shows properly for you. If not i'll tackle it after I get some shopping done.
