Mark posted great pictures, thanks Mark. I promised to post some, or try to, I'm computer illiterate, but mine just aren't very good quality considering we've had rain and fog here since I purchased the car. If someone wanted to post them for me I would gladly send them and let someone do it. I tried getting better pics today but its pouring. My car is Graphite Pearl Gray if anyone's interested. I tried hosting the pics on a server but I don't even know how to resize them. Lame eh!!

Same here, I think most who have seen the car in person would agree the rims aren't as bad as in the pics/brochure. I was planning on changing mine but I've decided to keep them after having seen them.

I'm not sure which MY it started but obviously the 06 has it.

Not me on the bike but I had one just like it - '02 Honda Pan European. I have an 04 Honda ST1300 - same bike (US version) but in dark blue.

Does anyone else think that all of that stuff in the MID should be implemented in the NAV computer screen? I like the trip computer on the big screen in the pre-06.

The Toyota/Lexus NAV includes the bluetooth interface there too, and that's really nice. I had assumed that Honda would put the bluetooth interface on the bigscreen, but I guess this is to keep non-NAV folks happy too.

It seems like a waste of a really nice big screen and user interface.

Actually, there are many types/shades of black. If you even look closely, the NBP offered by Honda/Acura is not pure black. It is a very, very dark blue, and you will see that much more clearly when under bright sunlight.

BMW offers a jet black color, which is more of a pure black, when compared to their metallic black color, which looks different.

I hope this helps you next time when you see a black car and you will appreciate the different subtle differences.

Went to the dealership yesterday just to check around and inquire when they gonna have their 2006 TSX arriving....was told within 2 weeks possibly 2nd week of December. They still have some leftover 2005 6MT (no Navi) and I check them out just look at the interior - pretty nice. I told the sales rep (she) that I will be back within a few months posssibly March/April timeframe to get the 06.

I know what you are saying, but it will not work since there is no "big screen" for non-nav models and MID comes standand for all.

I prefer it in the MID. I like refering to the trip computer stuff while driving, without using the Navi screen. Just cycle with the thumb. That way the Navi can be used to display something else, like the map.

It would seem like a waste to me if I had to use the big navi screen just to keep an eye on the info that I can now just watch in the MID.

Same thing for bluetooth, no need wasting the navi screen to show such simple data. I can operate my phone without loosing the info that the navi is providing.

The MSRP (on the NAV model at least, and I beliive the same for the non-nav) when up $700 from 2005, to $29,890 (which we didn't pay). Add handling of $615. Then add any dealer add on's (Rubber floor mats, Trunk liner, pin stripes etc.) and Title/Lic. In Oregon, we don't have sales tax, so that's about it.

Sorry, I missed that you were looking for Invoice not MSRP.
I've found that the non-nav Invoice is $25,436.00 (MSRP $27,890)
With NAV Invoice is $27,257.00 (MSRP $29,890)
These prices are from cars.com

Last Wednesday while they were getting our 06 ready, I noticed that they increased the MSRP on the window stickers of all the remaining 05's that they still had in stock, to the newer, higher MSRP. Hmmm....

Good.

Ok, now I want an 06. Keep up the good work Acura. Hope they keep the features coming and don't orphan this car/leave it to rot like they did the old Integra,RL,NSX, & RSX. (Then complain or act bewildered about declining sales)

Can you turn off the MPG feature while driving of the new MID display ? I'd find it really distracting/annoying.

Like "here's a luxury/performance car but I need to watch every penny in gas going out while i drive."

In the minor pet peeve department, Bluetooth and Nav *control* should have the same preferably sexy voice. All the MID MPG/trip features should be avail. on the NAV screen too (sometimes passengers like to play with them). Also the orangeMID and bluesurround highlights on the previously white display are not an improvement IMO.

07 Wishlist ? - Direct Injection, Paddle Shifters, XMTraffic, Memory Card Reader, name and title iPOD.music/RDS integration.

The MID can be turned off or the brightness can be turned down.

Agree, the CSX, which is a glorified Civic, has the memory card reader and paddle shifters. My 2000 chev company car had RDS integration.

The Bluetooth voice sounds like it could be the same person, with higher quality recording than the navi voice.

Where's an unemployed lawyer? I bet the BBB or some other consumer advocate would be all over them for pulling something like that.

And then dealers wonder why they get a bad name.

Nope, it looked like a new factory invoice. I've never worked at a car dealership, but can they print or modify them at the dealership? I will probably be back there this week for some follow-up service that we bought. I'll re-check again, but I did a double take when I saw it last week.

But in general, I'm happy with the dealership (in Eug. OR.), and they still come off of MSRP quickly, and I'm hearing other dealers may not as much now.

I'm not clear on this. Are we talking about dealer invoice or Monrony (MSRP) window sticker? The dealer invoice is usually in a folder in the office .... window sticker is ... well on the window.

You are correct. I mentioned factory invoice, when I ment Factory (looking)Window Sticker, with the new higher MSRP price.

The MSRP stickers are printed at the port of entry and put on (usually) buy somene from American Honda before they are delivered. At the tail end of the 2005 model year, Acura changed the look of the stickers, to show the safety ratings. Some 2005s had the new stickers and some the old. Dealers cannot print stickers, if one is destroyed, we can request a new one, but it's a pain in the butt.

Hmmm... I was just trying to figure out how the 2005 models, now have the higher ($29,890-NAV) MSRP on the window stickers. I guess either they modified the originals, or recived new ones to replaced the originals. I guess it doesn't matter, but I noticed it, and thought it was strange.

They cannot modify the stickers, they might be able to get new ones, or those are different 2005s.

Not 1 2006 TSX at the dealer on Saturday, at least not in the showroom. It was snowing and cold so I didn't walk the lot. I did have a chance to sit and go through the CSX and I was impressed. Its a very nice car although I like the styling of the Civic better.

That's mega . I guess Acura decided to hold it back so they'll have something new to add for the 2007 model.

Those wipers are sweet, are they the same length as the 04-05? If so, I think they connect to the arms on the car the same way.

They remind me of those really expensive aftermarket ones that are like $30 a piece.
