thanks. i did alittle searching and found these numbers:

2005 TSX
MSRP: $29560
Invoice: $26,992

2006 TSX
MSRP: $27,890
Invoice: $27,250*

My next question is, how accurate are these number around the states? Do they differ from area to area and if so, by ALOT? I'd like to use these as a guide when i do some serious looking.

Thanks!

As far as I know, it's the same everywhere. But why do you need the MSRP and invoice prices for a used car? The used price is what is going to vary from area to area, based on supply and demand.

I'd try looking at kbb to find the used value first, then go from there. A lot of places will list the car for really way too much, but most will negotiate pretty well with you. Try cars.com and autotrader. Also, CPOs will be worth more. Good luck.

I live in Charlotte too, and the only Acura dealership in the area is Hendrick Acura off Independence.

Kind of makes comparison shopping tougher, but in my limited experience, the guys at Hendrick Acura are pretty straight forward. I bought mine there new, and the sales guy gave me a fair price (invoice + $200) right off the bat. In + out.

I really like Hendrick. I bought my '06 non-nav there March '06 for $26.5k. Not as good as I've read on here before, but still not too bad. I called the next local dealer...Winston Salem and the guy basically told me I'd be crazy if I didn't get it for that price...

Good Luck

that is great news! not sure i can afford a new one but im definately looking for either an 04/05 TL or 05/06 TSX. hope my experience is as good as yours and others. how are they on trade in's? i MAY have a trade, not sure yet, depends on how fair they are.

i may need his name and contact info when it comes time to buy, maybe you can benefit from this too. did you put any down or have a trade?

I would shop around. Hendrick is a monopoly in Charlotte and they won't give you the best deal. Open your search to include NC, SC and GA. You'll get the best deal that way.
