You probably have room to go to $20.0 or $20.5k on that, which I would say is a fair price with the added year and 12k on the warranty. I paid $22.5k for a 2004 certified white auto with nav with 7k miles on it a year ago (was manuf. in 10/04), but it had a fender repaired and repainted (although I sure as crap couldn't tell) so they had to negotiate a bit more than usual.

Thats about exactly what my car is at, except mine is a 6MT. You could probably knock them down to about $20K.

22K sounds like too much. IMO, if you can strech your budget and get an 05, go for it. 04's have all kinds of little annoying problems (trust me, I've had 2 ) that have I think been rectified for 05.

Eh, its certified. That means the warranty is going to cover it.

I wouldn't buy certified b/c I know how I drove the demo car and if it was a previous owner, its a pop shot.

damn... 22k for 04?????? that sounds alot to me, but i really have no idea how fast tsx depreciates. why not 07??? i think you can stretch your payment longer and buy it when there is low interest rate. I notice they usually do like 2.1 apr around holidays... not even major ones. I got 2.1 apr on my tsx on independence day. Good luck buying a tsx, it really is an awesome car.

Thank you all for your responses! Great info! Am trying to pick up 04 auto navi for about 20k. Just not enough out there! TSXers hold on to them. When the dealer certifies them, yes the price seems about 2k too high. Thanks for the info 05-04, good to know! I will keep shopping!

My 04 5AT/Navi was totaled recently. An SUV hit it in the left rear wheel and completely colapsed the tire underneath the car. Most of the rest seemed untouched, but the cost to fix it topped $20k.

My Insurance is paying a market value of $26,439.33.

I went to my local dealer and got an 06 5AT/Navi for $29,800 OTD (TTL included).

I think both deals are pretty good.

WOW! How many miles did you have on yours? Is what you're getting back after TTL? Mine was a non-navi and they gave me back just over 23k after TTL.

Are you interested in my 2004 NBP/Parchment/5at/nav. No mods. 37K miles. All records, no accidents, very clean. I can send pics if you want. I just put new tires on a few weeks ago. My lease will run out in 3 months, but I am going to hit my milage max next month (39K). I am considering buying it off the lease and then selling it in early december.

I will try to send pics. Do you have an e-mail address I can send them to, that would be easier? Yes, Nighthawk Black Pearl, Tan interior

Next car will be either G35 sport, IS350, 335i, or Tl type-s. I am having a hard time with the decision. So far, the G35 is at the top of the list, I feel it is the best sport sedan under 40K. Ironically, I feel that the TSX is the best sport sedan under 30K.

I have thought about keeping the TSX until the '08 comes out, but I doubt it will be able to match the performance of the cars mentioned above. (unless it has the turbo from the RDX).

The car was right at 30k miles. I don't know how the adjuster came up with that price, but I wasn't going to argue with him. The accident was the other driver's fault, but my insurance is paying me and then going after her insurance for repayment. I'm just happy that when this is all over, I'll have a new 06 TSX to replace my 04, and only be about $3K out of pocket.

Kudos to your ins company for not screwing you over. Pretty much the same for me, accident wasn't my fault. Though mine had 39k miles on it.
