04,05 vs. 06

I was wondering how the acceleration times for the '06 AT would compare against the older MT TSXs. Also, does anyone know if they changed the gear ratios for '06?

most of the engine improvements are at the very high end of the rpm scale. i would figure it probably will not make much difference.

when the 05 RSX type-S's came out with all those "engine improvements" the acceleration times were the same sa the 04 RSX type S. maybe it will help you accelerate from 120 to 130mph a tiny bit faster.

I don't think it will actually SPANK 04/05 AT too, maybe a wee bit faster.

I SAY SPANK!. bow to the new!

I wish to note I don't condone the use of automatic transmissions. For shame.

Based on extrapolation from the dyno numbers that have been posted previously, it looks like the difference is about ~10 bhp at the crank. This will translate into a couple tenths of a second at the most, so don't expect it to be much quicker.

Hurry up and break in your engine so you can let us know since you're one of the few who already traded a 04 for a 06...
