'04-'05 headlight cover on '06+ housing?

'04-'05 headlight cover on '06+ housing?
Does anyone know if this will fit? I need to take off the plastic headlight cover from my 06+headlights and swap a new cover on. Will I be able to swap the '04-'05 plastic cover on top of my 06+ housing?

Are you talking about the headlight clear lens basically the whole thing thats not black?
The size is a bit differnt and you do know you have to bake off the headlight to remove it?
