Arrow `06 A-spec Package Price

I was informed my the dealers here in Dallas/Ft. Worth area that the `06 A-Spec Package is $5,500. Is that reasonable or an outrageous price ?

And does anyone suggest buying it somewhere else?

If I could buy all that for $5500, here's my amex#......

Sadly, it's looking like $10,000 for just the "essentials" (Prices in Yen):

165900 exhaust
165900 coilover
113400 front bumper
66150 side skirts
47250 rear bumper
68250 wing
294000 gp rims x4
1254750 total yen
xe.com = 10,476.76 usd

I dont know about 5500. I couldn't find specific pricing on the complete kit itself but this is what I did find.

The front lip is $355, the side skirts are $450, the rear skirt is $355, and rear spoiler is $599. The wheels that they offer for that kit are probably going to be 1316.00 So the total right there is $3075. These prices are dealership prices with no discounts. Im sure the a-spec suspension kit is the same from the 04-05 a-spec kit. You can buy that on ebay for $600. So if you pieced the kit together youself you talking 3675 for the complete kit. If the rims are the same offering as the 04-05 kit you can buy those separate on ebay for around $1,000. That would make the kit 3359.

I would think you can get it down to atleast 5k. its about 3500 if you buy it separate and then you gotta pay someone to install or DIY I guess. One good thing about gettin it from dealer that way is that it is under warranty

Actually, if you buy it from an Acura dealership, but have it installed elsewhere, it carries a 1 year warranty. That is of course, they find it wasn't an installation issue that caused the failure. Just make sure you keep the receipt for proof of purchase. If you buy it AND have it installed at the Acura dealership, it carries a 3 year warranty. My buddy works for an Acura dealership, so I get everything @ cost + 10%.

I'd take the dealer kit if you're someone like me who isn't crazy into tricking out the car. the Mugen pieces are nicer i agree, but the OEM parts are also nice to those of us who aren't going crazy and just want the added style.

The Mugen kit, even if it did "cost" 5500, would still need to be painted and installed, which i'm sure would nearly double that original "cost"

if 5500 is installed, i got quoted 1995 for the underbody kit installed, and i talked him down to 1700 (it takes 3 hours to install, costs approx 1160 Acura price). i'm hoping to talk him down more, but i got a sick deal on the car, so i'm not gonna get picky over another 200 or so dollars. ideally, i'd like to pay $1300, which is what Sebo got it for, but he also paid more for the car than i did.

so add the spoiler, rims, and suspension + installation, and if it comes to 5500, you're on par with what i'm paying. if it doesnt, you can probably to better.

Yep

OEM parts bought from and installed by a dealer carry the balance of the new car warranty regardless of when you install them.

It's in the manual and also on the Acura web site. Dealers are often wrong about this - don't believe them if they tell you 12 months or whatever.

Here is another one and this coming for a dealer Acura of Escondido. I'm planning on ordering the kit for my TL from them if my local acura dealer can't match the price.
