[Key Code]

hey everyone. ive frequented this site for awhile now but never posted before. great site and its been a great resource for me. ive done a search on this and have come to no answers. my questions is whether or not the tsx keys came with a key code stamped on a small metal plate. i dont seem to have this, and the manual says that i should have gotten a key code but im not sure as to where it is. the card with my radio anti-theft code has a sticker on it with my deck code and another sticker above that with a 4 digit code on it. i was wondering if this was the key code or not. thanks for the help everyone.

I'll have to check, but I believe when I bought the car I received a card with a key code that is required to cut a new key.

so the key code is affixed to the same card as ur deck's antitheft code is and to the glove box? i was beginning to think that was the navi unit's antitheft code. sorri guys juss need some clarification. thanks!~

If you have received a key code (metal) in the same key ring as your keys, that is your key's keycode

the number(s) on the side of the glove box is for the navi/radio unit. You'll need that if the battery gets disconnected from the car and the unit resets.

keys

lost my keys getting off a plane in Toronto last week. called Acura customer service 800 # that the tele operator gave me. they said they would come out and cut a key, but when they found out I was in Canada they gave me the Canadian #. The Canadian service would tow my car (useless on a Sunday) but would not cut a key. Service was useless. I had to rent a car to get home. Why the difference in the service.

My keycode was on a small paper card, not a metal keycode like my Civic had.
