Hi guys

I recently bought a 97 2.5TL. I am very happy with the car so far but i feel that the wheels/tires look crappy. Im going to buy new rims but i really cant descide.

I dont want to get anything to flashy, i just want to make the car look a little nicer.

1) Size. I want to get 18x7.5's. but my main concern is that they will be too big and look too flashy. upgrading from 15s to 17s may be more suttle but if its not that big of change, whats the point.

2) Color. Chrome seems to be the "cool" thing to do, but again, i dont want to look like im tryin to hard. Also, i dont need the cops pulling me over twice a day. however, some people are saying that if i go with a silver color rim, it wont match the color of my car (silvery champaign) and it will look BAD. Silver seems to be the way to go but if anyone with the same color car could be of some help i would greatly apreciate it.

3) Tires. The tires i have now are xxx/60/15 (WAY TO TALL) and look horrid. I plan on going with somewhere between 40-45.

4) Durability. I also dont want some aluminum rim thats just gonna crack if i accidently hit a pot hole.


Any info or thoughts would help me out very much. Thank in advance.

type-s rims would be great..and they do have them in 4 lugs but there all in PR out of the USA..

you should search something for like oem in 17 just search on ebay..by the lug patterns get good results..
