The windshield wipers on my 1st gen move at a slow rate or sometimes stops in mid wipe. I changed the wiper blades but that did not slove the problem. I think the motor needs to be greased but I am not sure. Does anyone have any suggestions. It would be greatly appreciated.

 

The trouble chart in my Acura 2.5TL manual lists the intermittent wiper relay as most likely culprit for erratic wiper action. It's on the engine side of firewall just below the wiper motor on the 2.5TL. It has 5 wires entering relay blk, grn/blk, blu/wht, blu/yel, and grn/yel in my wiring diagram.

The integrated control unit is listed as next likely cause of erratic wiper operation.
