A/C Question
I recently purchased a 96 2.5TL. 122K decent shape.
Here is my issue. When I am running the A/C, the driver side vents blow cold air, I mean nice and cold, but the passenger side vents blow outside temp air.
What gives? I tried to search the boards for a similar problem, but had no luck.
All help is appreciated.

I've heard of evaporator blockage causing this problem. If air flow is not robust on high fan and recirculate, you may have a blockage. This will require evaporator removal.
Have you checked that all vent selections operate correctly by cycling through all the selections?
There are three "motors" that drive the air mix, vent selection, and recirculate functions. Make sure all these are working.
Check the recirculate motor. You should hear the motor move which isolates most but not all outside air when recirculate is selected. There's a oover over the motor under the dash, which you can remove to see the motor/door movement if there's any question. You can usally hear easily if you're close to the motor (under the glove box).
If this is working OK, then problem is related to the mixing and vent selection motors or doors. These can be accessed, but the vent selection motor requires dash removal. It's not horrible, but it's not for the faint of heart either. Hope it's something simpler.
An Acura shop manual is essential for all of above.
good luck
