Weird Fan Problem

I got home from work today, and when I got out, I heard a fan still running with the ignition off. If your facing the car, it was the fan on the right, which is on the "Condenser Fan" fuse, in the fuse box. I let it run for while b/c I thought maybe my engine was just hot from sitting in rush hour traffic for an hour, but when it didn't go off after about 20 minutes, I pulled the fuse. Anyone know why it wouldn't shut off?? Thanks in advance.

dont worry about the fan it will auto shut-off ..its just cooling down the engine.. cuz the engine is running for a long time..it can take 20 - 30 min to shut off..so dont bother removing fuse or anything else

this is how this cars are made to keep the engine cool even after it's been turned off. It would shut off eventually.
Put that fuse back on.

Dang, I knew cars kept the fan on to cool the car after shut off, my motorcycle does the same thing. I've just never seen a vehicle take that long to cool off. Damn. The temp gauge was in its normal position, not any hotter than usual.

I did go put the fuse in and it didn't turn back on, so I guess it was probably just hot. Hmmm

You may also have a bad sensor or relay causing it to stay on too long
30 minutes is a long time for it to run

It should have a 15 minute timer on it.
