Vacuum line missing 97 3.2

Just got finished putting my car back together and there is a vacuum line missing... on the back side of the left engine there is an obvious hook up for a vacuum line which points toward the engine and is connected to the dipstick (not sure what the dipstick is for). I can't see what should be connected to it. I have looked at a vacuum diagram and can't make heads or tails of it. If anyone knows what I am talking about and can help, or can show me a 3 dimensional diagram of the vacuum lines It would be greatly appreciated.

Also, not 100 % positive its vacuum, but appears to be.

I don't have a 3.2TL to give you a better answer, but I think there should be a vacuum diagram located on the underside of your hood.

No. On the second pic, it is attached to the dipstick and points straight toward the engine about 3-4 inches below the dipstick. It comes from the underside of the car.

Hmm, there seems to be a rigid line by the dipstick that doesn't go anywhere?

Beats me too. Sometimes they put all kinds of stuff on vehicles just in case they have to add an option. On my 05 Tundra, they added everything for an alarm system except for the light. It cost me $22 to get it activated. I know there's all kinds of wiring in these vehicles that isn't used unless you get some sort of option?
