Main fuel relays have been a problem on many Honda and Acura vehicles since the 90 Accords, and possibly earlier. You would think Honda could have solved this problem w/ a more robust relay, but apparently not.
On Accords, I found that it was much easier to remove the relay mounting bracket w/ relay in place rather than try to separate the relay from the bracket.
It may be possible to access from LH side of dash by removing the trim and front panel pieces. Just a thought in case you can't access from underneath the dash.
