Thumbs up Rear Rotors replacement

Just bought a '96 2.5 TL.
Need to replace the rear rotors.
Can anyone give me hints on the process?
How difficult is this (1 to 5)?
Thanks.

Very easy procedure. Remove caliper by removing caliper mount bracket bolts, install two, 8x1.25mm bolts into holes top & bottom or disc, and jack the disc away from the bearing hub. A few raps w/ a hammer may help the small bolts jack the disc.

Buy a shop manual of some type to help you. Use jack stands to support car.

good luck

I have a follow up question. I noticed that there are 2 screws holding on the rotor. are these screws holding the rotor on too? I dont want to jack the rotor up if these screws need to be removed. Thanks

Screws should be removed. If they are stuck, you can drill heads off and back out w/ vice grips after removing the hub.

good luck
