I am 17 and this is my Third Car and I am having mixed feelings about my TL. Its a sweet car but it has some problems. First the Blower Motor on the Car is bad and was qouted 1000 dollars to fix. Both CV boots are gone and needs a new axle. The Check Engine Light is on. The Temp Guage redlines but shots back down after a second. Their is a horrible Clicking sounding when backing up and sometimes shifting gears. And the ABS modulator is bad. I mean it just suxs cause it needs a lot of work and the last car I had i invested 4000 dollars into before crashing it. I am just tired. And could anyone give me a price qoute of what all this will cost. And could someone please tell me about the horrible constant clicking sound when putting my foot on the gas in reverse. I would really appreciate it. Every mechanic around here is just completly dishonest so it would help alot. Thanks guys

Clicking noise is from bad CV joints. I bought new joints at NAPA for 100 bucks a pop.

Temp gauge is doing that because you need to get a coolant flush, get a new thermostat as well. Should be under 90 bucks for all that.
