P0135 A/F Sensor Malfunction
My CEL came on today; and I immediately noticed the car struggle to idle and would sometimes stall at a red light. The code I got was P0135 A/F sensor heater circuit fault. After some researching, I found that this was the upstream oxygen sensor, and was wondering if anyone else experienced similar symptoms with a faulty O2 sensor.

The closes I had was PO141 Oxygen Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 2 that I had replaced. I had mini stalls after whenever I punched the gas. But, I only experienced it maybe four times. I never had it stall or wanting to stall at idle. since I replaced it, i havent experienced it again.

I need to order that primary O2 sensor ASAP. My car got worst today and stalls out every single time I make a complete stop and it's annoying. Seems like it can't give accurate info for the ECU to regulate air/fuel ratio.

It has been exactly a week since replacing my primary sensor with a Denso (234-4726). So far so good, no more CEL and no more stalling when engine warms up.

I just recently replaced the bank 1 sensor 1 which is code p0135 and now i got the p0141 code and need to replace the 2nd sensor. The first sensor i replaced at the dealership and it cost me upwards of $600. it seemed like more than half of that was the price of the sensor part.
I don't know much about cars but I would like to decrease my cost and even learn about my car so that I could work on it myself. I live in San Francisco. Is sensor 2 post or pre cat?

The second sensor that you are referring to is downstream and located further down the cat. You can loan an O2 socket kit from an autoparts store and replace that sensor yourself. Buy Denso OEM replacement part!
