Odometer ticking

98 3.2

My trip meter is not working and am hearing tick-tick noises. Figure something wrong with the cable.

Anybody's seen this issue?

the small teeth in the trip odometer is not catching..happen to me twice.. i just press the reset a couple of times and it caught on.
