i am looking to get a new motor for my car i have a 98 3.2tl because im at about 195000 miles and i was wondering will only first gen engines fit in my car?

 

Is there somethng wrong with your engine? burning oil or overheated?
These engine run and run and run 200k miles is barely broken in!
If you really want to swap motors- ask auto recycler yards- they know all the crossover combinations
There can be issues with computer controllers and more $$$ than you want to spend

 

its not so much that theres something wrong with it cause it runs fine but if your sitting there with the radio down and its idleing you hear things rubbing or a weird humming sometimes and it would increase selling value if i have to sell it for school
