Ok so here's my first problem that I post some what awhile ago:

Weather strip gone:



I somewhat fixed it, my dad went to a junk yard and I got a replace from some 96 Acura and he doesn't know the model. It looks ok, but I prefer the stock ones:



Now this one is a major problem, when I was driving on the freeway I ran over a baracade that was on the ground and this what it did to it:
(My dad tied wires around the end of the exhaust so it wont fall off)


Do you think its cool to just roll around with my exhaust open like that? Also does anyone know how much it will cost to fix? BTW, I kind of like it open like that becuase it sound like I have an aftermarket catback and makes my car sounds more beastly, lol.

And one more thing, whats up with this:

The handles goes much higher, but is this easily fixable?

Before all of that I had starter problems, transmission and one of the front light blub went out and its a pain to replace them. As soon as I graduate I am getting me a new car. But it has to be an Acura because I have me one of these:

its not good to roll around with a bad exhaust i replace it soon..bad gas..as for the door theres a fix some where on the forums

 

Get that exhaust fixed ASAP. We're not driving Neons in the barrio here...

go back to the junk yard and see if you can get that exhaust part. It shouldn't be that expensive and if it is, its a whole lot cheaper than a new one.

As far as the door handle goes, its normal for our cars. I have 3 handles looking like that, just the driver door is okay...for now. The problem with that is a spring popped out of place and most likely the spring is still in your door panel somewhere. take off the panel (there are ways to doing that, just search for it on here), find the spring, and compare it to a healthy door. do a comparison so you'll know how the spring is suppose to go back in place.

 

That looks like your muffler but a better picture would help. If it is the muffler then you should be able to pick one up at a junk yard for around $50. Those bolts however are a bitch to get off unless you have air tools.

 

I bought a 97 tl with the same peice of weather strip missing and have been searching local auto wreckers with no luck.

 

I was thinking about getting the exhaust pipe fixed, but I think it will cost a lot of money to get it fix. Maybe ill try the junk yard again...

 

i had to replace the B-pipe on my car, don't know what your picture is exactly (muffler?). Bought it from www.importtec.com for <$100. Did the labor myself, which is a pain on my 2.5, but did it in a weekend.

The bolts will make you want to give up.

 

also, you can probably try and see if a muffler shop will weld the pipe to fix it. should be pretty cheap if they do it.

 

the problem is, if the pipe is rusted, they won't be able to weld it... if u can find a decent one at the junk yard, pick it up... otherwise i know u can find one on ebay brand new for a decent price... we share the same exhaust as the Vigors, if that helps...
