First off, thanks to all of you for sharing this information and knowledge to fix/mod our Acura's.

I have had my '96 2.5 TL since 2001. I got it from my Aunt in 2001 and it only had 18000 miles on it lol.

Anyway it now has 120000 and still runs great. the 3 things listed below are what I would love help with fixing.

1) How to: Change the Cabin Air Filter. It smells bad lol.

2) The Door Locks keep clicking after I turn the key to lock the doors.

I can only open the car from the drivers side. If I unlock the passenger side with the key it sets off the alarm. Same if I open the trunk without first unlocking the drivers side to deactivate the alarm.

Im going to try the window speed fix, along with the foglamp / parking light mod since I have the issue with the windows also.

Aside from these minor issues, I'd have to say this is one of the best cars I've ever owned. Its built really well and everything I need to do inside the cabin while driving is within arms length and easily accessible.

1) I know somebody told me on this site that I dont have a cabin filter, but mine is 3.2 so maybe its different for yours.

2) I think it has something to do with a door lock timer maybe, but im not sure.

I just wanted to say that i am thrilled with this site, and people here have helped me out with a lot of things and i learned alot since coming aboard, quite recently too. So i just wanted to say welcome and put some of my own input into this.

2. bigwerm had the same problem I think and he fixed it so if you do a search on it you should be able to find it.

That is a common thing for the alarm to go off. When my aunt owned the car that happened to her one time and she freaked out and didn't know how to stop it. Until she wiped out the manual and it was like o unlock with driver's side lock.
