I have a couple questions

Alright first question:

When i turn my car off the fan is so loud people around me still think my car is on? Is this Normal, i dont think it is myself but its worth asking.

Second
When i turn off my car it feels supper when im by the car. I understand the engines = heat but im normally standing like just in front of the driver door.

3rd Question
DO I honestly have to use premium, cause at first i put regular unleaded in it and thats when i noticed the problems, they werent there in the test drive (Problems being the Rough Idle/kick also does it when i accerlate an quits off around 2k rpms) if i have to i will im just curious

#1 - The fan is usually on in summer after you turn the car off, I presume to cool something down(don't remember exactly.) It's not supposed to be loud, but when I bought the car everyone used to think that the car was running when in fact it wasn't.

#2 - Don't understand the question.

#3 - There are a few threads about this stuff you should try doing a little search, but in short - it's better to use premium(supreme) gas since it's better for the engine and supposedly you get better gas millage.

lmao Correction on the second question sorry i was really tired lol. When im standing next to the car i feel alot of heat im thinking of having my coolant system flushed and checked over
and im just going to use premium fuil its worth it for her

if you as standing next to the car and the fan is on then yeah you will feel hot because it is probably pushing that warm arm out towards you... as long as your temp gauge isn't in H you are fine... but a coolant flush wouldn't hurt, especially if you don't know when the owner did it last and it isn't very expensive anyway...

Seafoam the gas tank and intake vac port- that will clean the crud from the inside of the engine and fix many problems left behind by the 87 octane
See gen2 DIY- skip to last pages of thread for correct vac port right at TB- your car will be similar but not exactly the same
If the gas cap-tank door- book- sticker says 91 MINIMUM use 91, or 93 if thats what they sell in your area of the country.
If a car says Suggested- then its only a suggestion for better power
The TL is tuned for 91 octane, you may get the same mileage but damage is happening to the engine- pinging- knocking- those are killers

Fans keep running after the engine is off for up to 15 minutes if the engine is above a certain temperature. This is normal and prevents blown head gaskets, something the Legend motor was known to do in the past.
