![Question](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
When I switch on my headlights, my main lights won't work. I can use high beams, but the low beams wont stay lit. On occasion, if I flick the high beams quickly, I get my lights working again. Any ideas what could be a problem? Relay, fuse, switch? I know the bulbs are good, I have the Sylvania Whites and installed them a couple of months ago. Thanks in advance

It's either the combination switch on the steering column or the dimmer relay.
If you pull the dimmer relay and check for presence of ground to the relay w/ combination light switch ON, and ground is not available to the relay, then the combination switch is the problem. If ground is available, then relay should close to supply ground and enable the dim lights. If ground is not supplied via the relay, the relay is defective. Dimmer relay is in the underhood fuse box, lower of two relays just right of center.
good luck
