grinding door locks

Hello everyone! I'm new here and I would really like to gather all kinds of knowledge from this site.
So my problem is that, when I go to lock the car, it gives a grinding noise on all four. Does anyone have a solution for this or had problems of this nature before?

Sounds like the actuators are bad. Seems odd they would all go out at the same time. Are you sure it is all four? Even if it is just one it can be very loud.

Rubber 'stops' inside the actuator worn or torn off. Seems to be common as the car ages.

You can disconnect the drivers lock actuator behind the door panel. The drivers door is the usual culprit. The lock system thinks it's still unlocked and that's why it keeps trying to lock.
