Can someone please explain to me what this is and how do you determine if your car is eligible. I called Acura and they said my car wasn't eligibe because with the 98 TL only the ball joints were under the warranty. Please let me know if that was correct. I was under the impression you could go to a dealership regardless of anything and they are suppose to check and fix for free. **Silly me for trying to get a sweet deal**

 

I forgot to also ask, with the free service do they determine the free services if you live in a state that has inspections. I live in FL and we don't have to have inspections on our cars. Thanks!!!

 

Call American Honda at 800-382-2238 and give them your VIN number. They can tell you if your model is eligible for it.

 

That is who I called and it was Acura, but they said no because with the 98TL it only covered the ball joints which were fixed. It seemed weird because a lot of people in the forums are stating they got their 02 sensor fixed, which is what I need fix also. I don't know if she didn't know what she was talking about, so I wanted to get second opinions.

 

Only the '96 and '97 TL are under the emissions warranty.
