Drain Bold position

From the pictures, it looks like the drain bolt is behind a bracket of some type. Did you have to take any special steps to remove the drain bolt?

^ Are you serious?

You drive a second gen, and it's a 3.2, not a 2.3.

That's the DIY. I used Valvoline Synthetic 75w90 that time, forgot what went in after that in the new diff, but should've been about the same weight.

I had a transmission service at Vandergiff Acura in Arlington, TX and they told me that they did didn't do a differential fluid service because the 98 TLs don't have it. I said the the manual reads that it needs service every 30,000 miles or 48 months. He responded, "well, that's just a in general info for all cars and AWD Acuras." So, I just told myself... Thank you Acurazine members for having DIYs.

Hey, really appreciate the post on the differential fluid replacement. It's over 10 years ago it's still useful. Out of curiosity for future projects, does anyone have any tricks for figuring out part numbers like these washers?

I found the washer here, but I can't tell from these diagrams that they relate to the differential.
