asm 2525 LIMIT READING
HC ppm 58 105

no they're different just buy a replacement aftermarket one and make sure you don't have other issues. Like mine I need to clean out all egr ports from egr valve to bottom of intake manifold but to much trouble so I might just cheat it not sure?

It should if you have less than 150k on the car, the Acura Stealer can do all emissions work for free just show proof of the etesting results and they should take care of it but you can install an aftermarket one. As far as the egr ports if you have a check engine light on, have someone check the trouble codes and look for P0401 something like that it means insufficient egr flow which is just carbon build up on the intake manifold and so on. On your test it should have labeled all the components that passed and the ones that didn't such egr, thermostatic air cleaner, catalytic converter, and so on... check which ones did and didn't then you can narrow it down. Check it out and get back with the results okay.

If you are below 150K miles, go to the dealership with the emissions report. All 1996 and 1997 Honda and Acura vehicles are covered by Honda upto 150K miles..
