I have a 1996 Acura TL 2.5 86,xxx miles that recently has the check engine light showing. The car was smogged 3 weeks ago and passed with no problems.
I used a scanner and got the following code P0141. It seems to point to an O2 sensor failure. There was only 1 code.

My Questions are:
- Does the Emissions Warranty apply to this car and California?

IF NOT:
- Is this really the O2 Sensor that failed?
- Which O2 Sensor failed? (I believe there are 2?)
- Where is the Failed O2 Sensor located?
- What is the best course of action (ie - replace the O2 sensor? Other?)

Go to the dealer.
If it is emission related (o2 sensor) . It is covered under a Acura 15yr emission warranty.
