ok so i have scoured the fixes/problems threads and have not found the problem i am having come up. when i start my car the air conditioner display is on, but after about five minutes it starts fading out and the goes completely off. i have already pulled the panel out and checked the connections to the rear of the A/C control unit and still my display goes out. has anyone else had this problem? does anyone have a solution?

Oh man, only 40 bucks!? I was thinking of selling mine for $100... Beware though, my original climate control unit went bad when it would not engage the A/C, I had to buy another one which solved the problem.

 

its not the control doesnt work.. the back light just fades out after the car is running for about 5 mintes

 

It still could be a faulty climate control unit.
