AC sensor bad, dash needs to come out

I've been told by two shops now that my AC temperature sensor is bad......$900+ because the dash needs to come out to access.

I'm looking for a decent set of instructions on dash removal. Anyone been down this road before?

Thanks

There is a online 2.5/3.2TL manual you can download that shows some tests for the evaporator temp sensor and inside cabin temp sensor. The evap temp sensor looks like it might be accessible w/o removing the evaporator or dash, but lower knee bolster, glove box, and some items behind glove box will definitely have to be removed. On most cars this sensor is accessible w/o dash removal, but Acura may be different. The inside cabin temp sensor is readily accessbile.

If you have problem w/ download PM your email address and I'll send you a pdf copy of key pages.

good luck
