Why not?

finally dropped the car... didn't drop it too low because I have to drive it everyday during Chicago's winter season.

GR-2 series are designed and calibrated to compensate for worn suspensions i.e. sagging springs or in this case, lowering springs. Gives a very solid but not too harsh ride. very little body lean in the turns.

Front Drop - 1.75 inches
Rear Drop - 1.6 inches

It actually doesn't ride that rough... there is very little lean in the turns compared to my old ass springs that sagged like a bitch... you'll definitely feel the road a little more, but if you're cruising on a nice road (unlike Chicago roads) you won't notice much of a difference... I'd recommend going for it

The wheels are just some 17" Drag Wheels, model DR35 with the chrome lip.

42mm/45mm offset

Tires: Falken Ziek ZE512 size 215-50 R17 (45 sidewalls would only work with 18's but I didn't want to lift the car too much)
