I knew the headlights would get a reaction out of you.

I'm going to install them as soon as I get my HIDs in.

I'm going to get a price on the bumper repair some time next week. Hopefully it isn't too much.

Just getting the wheels has really changed my mind on so many things.

Just remember that the headlight reflectors are designed for RHD, so they will have a left uptick! Try them with the halogens first, then see how that works for you.

Yea that is what I was going to do when I install them. Should I just switch out the aimer or just switch the left one to the right one?

Mine are that way, surprisingly no one has flashed at me yet. They are not really that off but you will see where it is going.

You don't need to open the headlights or anything. Try aiming you stock headlights first against a wall or garage door, mark it and then do same with these and adjust accordingly..

You don't have to go through all this if you don't want to. It is very little diff.

Installed the headlights today.

I'm just waiting for the HIDs to come in and then I'll take pics.

The bumper is going to be a loooooooong process.

So Mike, how do you like the fact that the bulb is a little crooked compared to the USDM? I mean that the headlight bulb goes in at an angle vs. having the top tab straight? Is it messing your beam up? I had corrected it by rotating the D2R do that the ceramic was still at 90*, but that's because that Casper didn't have an alignment pin.

You think that if I swapped out the holder from the USDM light to the JDM light that I would be good?

Also.....

I have a valve issue right now that is going to drive me up a damn wall.

No, it's the reflector housing itself. You'd have to remove the reflector assembly from inside the headlight and swap it over. At that point, you might as well just switch the frame over.

I not that great with a heat gun, and messed up one of my headlights since unlike Civics, we have hella glue holding everything together. It takes so long to heat I accidentally deformed some of the black side. Oven FTW.

What exactly was the problem? Are you sure it's not something you can fix yourself?

if they're piston rings, you better get them fixed asap before you race or your floorboard might fall off.
