I detailed her today...mean green style had a guy pull up with a honda fit with an exhaust...sigh other than that it was bone stock. He just stared...lol oh and I took out my yellow condoms today...getting ready to install my 10k hid fogs c'mon...start something its boring. Hey I can ask random newbie questions, technically I'm still a newbie. Maybe someone can do a new D.I.Y?

I can see that your ballasts were made in China. The base of the bulb leads gives it away.

Good job on the paint. For the wipers, I'd sand them down and use barbecue grill paint to respray them. It lasts awhile longer than normal paint.

I thought you had an intake?

They were free...I can't complain. Lol Yes the wipers are next on the agenda. Yes, that's my redneck intake. I had to do it that way...my hubs broke the radiator helping install it. $140 later I almost choked him to death bc he tightened ONE bolt too tight on the RADIATOR(bc he thought it looked lose) and all of a sudden had radiator fluid dripping and squirting everywhere. That's why he doesn't touch my baby anymore. Lol I need the metal basically. Im sure fleabay has plenty of them. It would look alot better. It sounds deeper though. Im worried about putting an aftermarket exhaust on it though. I don't want to lose power and I don't want it to sound like a fart can.

Get rid of the Kragen Sceptre intake, and don't use eBay crap and it won't sound like a fart cannon. A good balance for cost/effectiveness would be a Weapon R Dragon intake pipe, and a K&N cone filter. The Dragon intake can be thrown in the garbage along with the Sceptre.

Exhaust stuff, if the muffler is under $100 retail, it'll probably sound like ass and fall apart a few months later, .

Screw FB.

A cheap/free DIY would be removing the intake resonator. Check the DIY section.

You can post pictures, just upload them to a hosting site like Photobucket and copy the IMG code. This is all explained in the stickies.

Sweet! Right I totally understand. Thank goodness there's a tl in a junkyard about 10miles away. It does look a bit rough but it has a few goodies left just in case. I hate to see a parted junkyard tl. Its like looking at a skeleton. Yea, I know. My familiy says I care WAY too much about my car. I told them its a hobby just like their hobby....sitting around clucking, and creating drama. Lol

^ LOL at your last line. Yeah, there are a few 1G TLs left at my local salvage/junkyards, but they all either have major front damage or front bumpers missing. Saw this guy that parted his car out and drove there to pick up the 3.2 bumper. He said that he was going to pull it to the junkyard sometime today.

Yes, but the car does not have a title. The guy claims that it has a bad fuel pump and that everything else works. At least that's what the previous owner told him. He just bought it as a parts car for the hood to replace his dented hood.

the threads are slowing down again, I'll have to get off my ass this weekend and work on something to post up. I do need new floormats, wonder if i can find some oem ones or if i'll have to buy Walmart brand. I could probably clean my car out too. Its time for an oil change could do that too. Maybe run thicker power wire for a bigger better amp. hmmm the possibilities.
