To clear or not to clear...?

Picked these clear corners up on ebay a while back... I guess you can say this is my biggest and only mod I did over the summer hahaha

what do yo guys think... amber or clear corners?

I was thinking ambers for a more JDM look but the Inspires in Japan came with clear corners...

Even though I have the clears but I am thinking of going back to Amber.
For some reason, to me, clear gives a cheap look to it.

Clear with an amber bulb. That's look the closest to JDM as the clears don't have the amber plastic inside the housing. I considered going back to that but I hate orange...

Well, I like the idea that yes, having an amber bulb reflecting inside the housing while the light is off is nice as it really looks JDM, but I HATE orange lights. Kam, your LEDs make it look clear when off and orange when lit, I want it orange when off clear/hyper-white when lit. Too bad I can't have it my way... Other than painting the bottom of the LED bulbs orange... Wait, there's an idea!!

thanks for all the input...

yea the clears here are a bit cheap looking though...

i have the sylvania silverstars for the turn signal and headlight corner signals...which gives off a bluish tint when not lit... but amber when lit. you can't really see in the pic but they look alright...

maybe i should just try to get some jdm bumper lights...?!?

I think the amber lights look retarded on the lighter colored TL's but on the dark color TL's I think it can go either way.

I think that you should get the clears with amber bulbs like Go90Go said. that would look nice. The clears dont look cheap, they make the car look "newer" big ass amber lights make me think of an older car. they look fine either way on your dark car, but i think that the clear with amber bulb will be a nice compromise.

Why thank you 982.5TL! BTW, OEM Inspire signal lights are available on eBay right now. Also what you guys said about the darker coloured cars is true. Acurasnake, your ambers look very comfortable at home on a dark body, at least they do in your avatar.

~Cheers~
