i read this on another thread and im wondering what the diffrence is between type 1? and type 2?

 

It has better flow characteristics, especially for 4000 to 6000 rpms.

The Type II motor was the C32A5 engine in the top trim levels of the 2nd generation Legends. It had 230 hp vs. 200 hp.

There were other differences such as valves and timing.

Ijust want to know either the part number or the real name for the part so I dont order the wrong one and ken does it bolt straight up you have a 97 tl too right

if you have a 96-98 TL with 3.2 motor, it's a straight swap to the T2 manifold. you can use the whole unit.

you will most likely have to buy a used one. you might still be able to buy it new from Acura but it will cost a fortune.

 

Where did you order the strut bar and type two manifold from trying to the same for my car

 

all those parts are from a legend gs or coupe..
