Hard to decide if OK or NOT. To each his own. Just not used to seeing TL's with those tips. Yes, kinda old style....but if you like it, that's what matters!

well i'm releived that it doesn't sound like a cheap ass muffler that a lot of guys in high school were slapping on their hondas. it has a deeper tone. it is a lil louder than i would like, but it doesn't sound like a bumble bee.

Then they lied to you, but then again, they don't make that nice stuff anyway, and it doesn't cost much more:

That's because it's a 6-cylinder motor.

i think the best way to achieve that is to just add some tips that aren't resonated.

yeah i have a 5cyl. and yeah i only paid 120 for the muffler and installation.
the main reason i went with this muffler is because i couldnt' see myself buying the one i really wanted (not for this car anyway, maybe when i get a GS or LS)

and sorry guys, its still raining here and i'm still in da burban, so i haven't got the sound clip. well i have my car all covered but i promise tomorrow i'm gonna try and do it bc i also ordered the tranny gasket and filter/screen (whatever the official word for it is) and I want to get all that done friday (tomorrow)

Yeah, it's pouring here, too. Lots of thunder, hail. I'll post up some pics later.

In any case, when I saw the link say Aimgain, I got my hopes up, because I posted two Aimgain exhausts I was debating a long time ago:

well, i'm sorry to report that the sound clips are not coming out very well. i've tried and tried and they all come out sounding like a dirt bike or a chainsaw, lol. My exhaust does not sound like that at all. so sorry but no sound clip.

Try having a friend stand on the sidewalk and drive by him. That should make it better, since if you're recording it revving stopped, there isn't any load and it'll be a higher pitched sound.
