Question LED Sidemarkers?

i did a search and many prefer polarg H4's for the corners and silverstars for the headlight. i was wondering if anyone had tried putting on a LED isntead of "hyper white" bulb in there? there are different ones that i was looking at. the ones in the link below were being highly considered but im not too sure how well they would look with the stock bulb ....

so if anybody has any actual LED's in there id like your input and those that have hyper white's as well : note any positive experiences with specific bulb/ combo please if possible. thanks

I remember a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away..

Some people did the LED thing. And if i'm correct it did'nt work well.
The reflectors in the lens are not angled in a way to properly disperse the straight beam of a LED. So instead of a even spread of lite, there was a hot spot.

If you take a look at those LEDs in that link, they are made so that some of the LEDs face the sides (and hit the reflectors).. pictured below.

Has anyone used this particular LED in their sidemarkers?

I have white LEDs in mine. Look good to me.

Bought from superbrightleds.com,

Have them in both upper and lower parking/driving lights and the front turn signals

How much modification does it take to get them in there? I would really like for all of that to match...

Shouldn't be any modification necessary.. just buy the size that you need. 7440 for bumper signal, 194 for bumper corner and 194 for headlight corner.

Oh damn that is easy then. Maybe I will pick up a set since they aren't too expensive.

Just to recap from what I posted before.

I have eurodesignz 8500k lights in my fogs and headlights, and the "white" leds look much more blue than the white that comes from the headlights.

It is pretty misleading.

I have recently taken Vincent's advice and changed the LEDs to Cyberwhites.

They flow with the head/fog lights MUCH better.

I also have white LEDs in all the dome and door lights inside and those are being changed to Polarg's as soon as they come in, because they are more blue than white, and not that bright since LEDs are directional.

Also HAD white leds around the license plate...changed those to Cyberwhites too.

Long story short, I have a pretty good chunk of change tied up into LED bulbs that I have all replaced.

Polarg and/or cyber whites match much better from what I have seen.

I will get pictures one day soon when I get my ronjon inspyres on.

Screw LEDs... even the most expensive ones give poor coverage.

Go to Wal-Mart and get some Cyberwhite 194 (they'll work):
