leather starting to wear...

so... i call the dealer to see what kinda of price it is for my area of leather that needs replacment... its the part of the drivers seat that is where the legs fold (prolly the most commonly wore out too) well.... after hearing 1200 installed i woke up and decided thats not an option. 100 for a restoring act but that doesnt help the strucutre of the leather but will help looks wise i guess. any of you all ever gone thru this crap???!!!???

For 1200 dollars you could redo ALL the leather in your car

Any shop with leather or upholstery experience should be able to do it.

Meguiars is good --- But lexol 2 step system brings the leather back to the first Day

Any pictures of it to see how it really looks?

Might be best to just clean it well, and keep it conditioned. Mine is looking sort of old, but can't justify the price in a 10 year old car to do it all over.

Had an excellent repair recently performed by the "seat surgeon", and was only 100$. He does work in the NJ/Philly area, and you may have to meet him at one of the car dealerships he services, though he does work for some Acura dealerships. Note: The dealership can mark up as much as 100%, so contact him directly.
